디지털 미디어 시티(DMC)의 보행이 교차하는 장소로, 첨단기술과 DMC의 정체성을 드러내며 DMS 및 미디어 플라자와 연계에 중점을 두었다. 주요개념인‘중첩성, 네트워킹, 행태’를 다양한 방법으로 공간에 풀어내고자 했으며, 각각의 활동들을 색으로 표현하고 여러 가지 행위를 담아내는‘색채의 공간’과 빠르게 변화하는 첨단시설 속에 여유 있는‘자연 속의 휴식 공간’으로“휴[休] 스퀘어”를 계획하였다.
he Air Force Club functions not only as a community space for the officers of the air force, but also as a place for various kinds of events in the community like weddings. The external space has a facade motif and the design of the square is symbolical, and the empty square can be used as a multi-purpose space for outdoor events. The square opens up space in a city that’s densely populated and lights up at night with lightings, and it’s open for 24 hours. The space is filled with simple features such as water space, a shade tree and a sculpture “Soaring,” that reflects the air force. It is simple but holds symbolical meanings.
