서울시 환경상을 수상한 동남권유통단지내 가든파이브 라이프는 패션관, 영관, 리빙관, 테크노관으로 이루어진 유통전문상가다.
청계천의 다양한 전문상가가 이주하는 대규모 상업시설로서, 청계천의 기억과 함께 장지동의 지역성을 담기 위한 계획안을 수립 하였다. 수공간과 녹지가 네 방향의 스트리트를 따라 대규모 중심광장으로 유입되도록 계획하여 주변의 교통 인프라 및 자연 인프 라와 연계된다. 이렇게 적극적으로 연계된 중심 오픈스페이스는 이주한 청계천 전문상가들의 활력과 문화와 예술, 패션과 젊음 등지역의 새로운 가치를 생산해내는 장이 된다.
Consists of fashion center, young’s center, living center and technology center, ‘Garden-5 Life’ is distributive industry area. It was selected as the winning entry in a competition and awarded Seoul’s Environment prize. This place is one of the largest markets near Cheonggyecheon(stream) and have unique memory about Cheonggye-cheon. Our design proposed to memorize Cheonggye-cheon and admitted local identity of Jangji-dong. Water and green space concentrated on to central open space with adjacent four streets. This idea will make transport infrastructure to merge with nature infrastructure. People in this market will appreciate this open space and will experience various events through the year.
